ChrisH
Does anyone know how to get ahold of paint for a Cobra AMP Driver. One of the guys in my foursome was trying it out and scuffed the crap out of my driver and I want to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Go Pokes!!! Super Tuna
I'd drop a line to Continetal Golf. I suspect they would want to do the work for you, but they might also be able to point you in the right direction. They do repairs and repaints for a number of OEM's. I laught at your claims to fight a zombie apocalypse when most of you can't stand up to a Spider

RookieBlue7
If you want to diy it, go to your local auto paint shop and have them color match it... Or pick an entirely new color for it. Walkerjames
I'm not saying this to be a dick! But if you like the driver and plan on baging it for a while. pay a body shop to re paint it you will be much happier. unless you have experience painting it not as easy as it looks because and Rookie will back me up proper prep is just as important for a good durable finish. If you want to attempt it your self PM me and I can give you some pointers. It's way easy for car painters but there is a whole lot of learning for the amateur first timer. A car painter could probably do the job for small change if he's not out to become a millionaire on one job. Might be a good idea to pull the shaft first, just to make taping up the head easier. RookieBlue7
Yep proper prep and proper working of the surface between coats (there will be multiple as well as a top clear) is paramount to getting it right. Walkerjames
Well said boys! I have been painting cars for 15 years now and the problem especially in CA is the EPA/ AQMD has passed a mandate that makes us used low VOC coatings ie weather born paint etc and the cost has sky rocketed to the point that just paint for a driver head would be in the $30-$40 range.and this makes it a bit of a costly repair. I saw on continentals web page that they do it for $45 plus shipping not a bad deal at all!
