How to add a Picture to a Post

Is anyone else having issues uploading pictures recently? When I drag the file into the attachment space (or browse to the location specifically), it stays stuck at "loading image". I've tried refreshing the page and rebooting my laptop, just trying to figure out if it's a site issue or a me issue.

Via mobile page I added a pic with no issues just a lil bit ago

Can't say I've had that issue today and I have done a few post with photos... What are you using? Desktop?

It doesn't like large file sizes.  Don't know what the limit is, but I always reduce my photos to less than 250K.  No reason to have larger file sizes IMO.  That also saves your available file space to upload; there is a limit on that too.  

A pic taken on a phone and posted is over 1MB, which is why I wait until I can reduce the size later.  I wish there was a way to easily do that on my phone or maybe the APP should do it automatically.  If there is a way, I don't know about it.

I've been trying on desktop, to no avail. I'll have to try on my phone, but it sounds like it may be a me problem.

This is a 1MB PNG image that I just uploaded on the desktop. So at least for me, I'm not seeing a problem right at the moment.

Maybe a bit off topic but is there a keystroke I'm missing when I'm trying to post YouTube videos?  

When I've done it in the past I could grab the link, paste it into the MGS forum, and once I posted it the YouTube video was there in all its glory with the "Play" icon ready.  Lately when I do that, it's just paste's in a text link that takes me to YouTube.  Works, but not quite the same and what I'd prefer.

What am I missing?

The one thing I always do now is take pics for posting here in landscape mode. I tried rotating the portrait pics in a photo app and just couldn't get it done. Landscape is a lot less frustrating.
