Iron Shaft Chart

I finally got all the data input in the chart, and it will look rather rudimentary to lots, but it's a lot of data inputting and it takes a while to keep the eyes from crossing. Currently this chart covers Dynamic Gold, Dynamic Gold SL's(the lite versions), Dynamic Gold Tour Issues, KBS Tour, KBS C-Taper.

When you get to looking at the chart, once I got to inputting values for the Dynamic Gold's, I got a little lazy. The SL versions of all the shafts match up with their regular weight bretheren as far as flex is concerned. The weights for the DGSL's are the second weight. If you see a shaft in parenthesis, it's weight matches up in parenthesis. Hopefully it's easily understandable and concise as a reference. If you see ss next to a shaft's name, that means soft stepped once, ssx2 means soft stepped 2 times, hs means hardstepped.

I got some of the information (the KBS stuff) from Howard Jones on another site. I got the True Temper product info directly from a person I speak with from True Temper. I won't reveal his name, but he's who I got the True Temper info from (DG and PX). Hopefully this helps all the amateur club builders out there, such as myself. I've referenced this several times (though in notebooks I keep in my workspace and not on the computer, course now that it's compiled in spreadsheet form, I can print this page and hang it up). I hope to be able to add data for PXi, PX 95, DG Pro, C-Taper Lite in the future, but for now, this is the data I can present to you. Let me know if there's any questions:

good chart from what I can see, it is an image though and it appears some columns got chopped off as I have nothing in FCM for the right shaft set the image cut that part off. anyway to upload the excel sheet instead of the image?

FCM readings are all the way on the left hand side from 4.2-7.5 going vertically. It is how it should be when I view it. I put FCM values on each line for each shaft as well. The last column on the right should be the weight for the KBS product.

The columns should read, from left to right:

FCM, DG/DGSL, Weight (corresponds to DG product), Project X, Weight (corresponds to PX product), KBS (C-Taper and Tour), Weight (corresponds to KBS product).

The FCM values for each line are on the left.

This chart is awesome and explains why my current shafts work well compared to my standard fitted recommendation.

Thx for this Rook

I've sent requests for info to a few manufacturers to hopefully be able to add to this chart. We'll see what happens.
