SHAFT TIP TRIMMING WHEN USING AN RBZ ADAPTER SLEEVE

Recommended Posts

Actually, TMag does at times, at least at the Kingdom locations and on the van. But it varies by shaft manufacturer.

You're better off calling the shaft manufacturer and asking them their recommended tipping for that shaft into a shaft adapter. Some will say none, some will say 1/2", a few will say 3/4" to play to the stated flex. Your answer is "it depends".

In The Bag
Driver: TaylorMade M2 (2017) w/ Project X T1100 HZRDUS Handcrafted 65x
Strong 3 wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ ProjectX T1100 HZRDUS handcrafted 75x
3 Hybrid: Adams PRO 18* w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4 Hybrid: Adams PRO 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4-AW: TaylorMade P770 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx S400

SW: 56* Scratch Tour Dept(CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

Off the van and the Kingdom, sure. As a standard TP shaft ordered through anyone else? No. Per Dave that introduces too many operational variables to be screwed up (though he used more flowery and less direct language, that was the gist).

But yeah, if he's worried he can call the shaft OEM and check with them.

I laught at your claims to fight a zombie apocalypse when most of you can't stand up to a Spider
