Ask the seller to provide serial numbers, then you could call or email Tmag to check them

Its a set from 4-Pw with Kbs tour stiff shaft and golpride multi coumpound grip.

We settle the price at 280$.

he gave me a serial # but when i called TMade they said they didnt find anything.

I asked the seller to re- check the #.

He said he bought at golftown and it was 100% authentic.

I dont know this seller.

Given the details, and the fact that I cannot see the clubs in person, I would be of the impression that they are real. Typically, knockoffs do not have upgraded shafts installed, or come in partial set configurations. Take this all with a grain of salt, and be cautious, but to me.... seems legit. As far as the serial # goes, just because TMAG can't tell you where they are from does not make them fake. I have called them on several sets that I know are legit, and they have no record. TMAG is not the same as PING when it comes to serial numbers.

YOu called TMag and they said that # didn't exist?

They just said that they didnt find this # in their database and that a # could be wrong.

FWIW, I was presented with a knock-off Mizzy MP-68 5i and an authenic 68, and bear in mind that these are the irons in my bag, and I not only couldn't tell the difference, I chose the knock-off as the "real" iron.

Do not go by looks because sometimes you can't tell the difference cosmetically or weight wise, and as in my case, it was impossible to tell the difference.

If the numbers don't show, run, don't walk from this guy.

Did the fake came with upgraded shaft (eg.kbs ) ?

Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: i went to golftown and they still had two set available. I got those serial # and called tmag to check if they had in their datbase.

FOr both of them also same answer. Nothing came up.

These were two set of TM MC from the largeat golf retailer in canada and tmag couldn't find none..Weird!?!?!

tks

Nothing on them calls anything into question for me. Calling to check serial numbers is pretty much worthless, as they can only tell you if the serial number exists in their system, and even then, it's not always in their system all the time, as they purge serials from their system periodically. You're gonna be hardpressed to find a set of fake used clubs. If they were new, yeah, but used. There's no money in the used fake market.
