Well, thanks to moving some items, I was able to pick up the putter I've been lusting after (there were several different ones but this one is what I ended up with).

 

Got my first Nead on the way and its a beauty. I may end up swapping the shaft and grip out, not sure how ill get along with a graphite putter shaft...

 

Anyway, it's on the way and I hope to have it in hand ASAP. Here's the link to it in the registry:

I really liked the Staff putter, however I would just get it to look at as it most likely wouldn;t go in my bag, and I gotta stop buying putters that are goin straight into the closet, with no chance of seein the course, lol. That was a great price though, so I hope that it finds an appreciative owner.

Bulls eye putters were brass.

 

Copper is unique in feel. Even copper inserted putters have their own unique feel. Example, a Scotty Studio Stainless vs a TeI3. Same basic design with the inserts, but hit the Tei3 and then hit the SS and tell me you can't tell the difference in feel. Last copper putter I hit was a few years ago (solid copper that is). I'm looking forward to getting this puppy in. Hope it's face balanced

Definitely ready to get it here now. Today's round had 7 consecutive lip outs the last 7 holes with 3 being for birdie and the last for eagle. Broke the shaft on the Scotty as I was pissed and the last one for a pile of cash. And yes, I realize it was stupid. First time I've snapped a club in anger since high school.

Well, I got it in hand last night, and I must say it's a beauty. I had no clue what grip was on it pre-purchase, but it's a lime green Iomic. I'll be replacing the grip with one I've been wanting to try, and that's a Salty cork grip. Anyway, you've read enough about it, here's some putter porn:

Looks fantastic!! I had a Salty grip on my MannKrafted handmade. I really liked the feel of the grip but could not get used to the shape. If it were shaped like the super stroke instead of tapered I would have really liked it. Anyway, ended up going back to the Iomic mid size, my default grip.

From everything I've read the Salty grips need to be used heavily to be "broken in " so to speak.

I've been wanting one of the minis for a while and this one kind of popped up. Would you be able to take on a few changes I'd like to make for it or does NASCAR have you tied up at the moment? I'd really like a sound slot and maybe a siteline and some deep milling on the face. I will say this graphite shaft is different in the feel department.
