Aotearoa_Brad
I know that Paul Lawrie's proto hybrid (below) was posted on the photo of the week contest on the MGS blog in May, but haven't heard much more on it. Then I saw the driver (below) yesterday in an equipment publication and just wondered whether our Spies had any info that they'd be able to share on these? Apparently there will be a full line of Driver, Fairway Metals, and Hybrids. IMHO they look frickn' sick!
SPY VIP The Dansome Posted August 1, 2013 SPY VIP Share Posted August 1, 2013 That driver look purdy! furu
I'm going to St.Andrews with Wilson to try the new clubs. Still a few weeks away. At the same time as Alfred Dunhill Links, end of September. But I'll try to twist someones arm to get info I like the look of the new FG line. Smart move to use that name on woods.

Paul S
Every day I become a little more infatuated with Wilson Staff. If they need a rep here, I'd GLADLY drive down to them in Chicago for them to fit me and turn me loose to find followers. furu
No more info than what's in the GD article. Sorry. I think Wilson should keep the D100 series for next. It's doing pretty well over here. The irons are popular, mainly seniors and higher handicaps but that's an important market. FG + D100 is something for nearly everyone. JohnBarry
Very, very good looking, and I love to root for Wilson, the under dog now that continues to put out great product and still really not get noticed. I agree Furu, less definitely can be more, especially when trying not to confuse customers. The two lines (FG and D100) is a sufficient stable - especially if you can maintain top quality in those lines.
HillWilliam
Love the look of the driver with adjustable lofts. Fit and finish deserving of the FG line. Agree with furu that it's a appropriate name for the top of the line driver and hybrids. The hybrid looks good also if a bit Adams influenced (nothing wrong with that). The D100 line should stick around as the GI line. Anxious to hear about the new product. By the way, the new FG Tour prototype ball for 2014 already has a senior tour win over in Germany (Steen Tinning of Denmark).
Flv02
That hybrid looks an awful like the Adams Pro Idea of a few years ago. And that deiver is actually a nice looking driver. Staff's sorta like Mizzy in that for having such great irons, the drivers & FMs never really took/take off, though the Fybrid series of hybrids by Staff was a kick ass hybris. I've got the 19.5* Fybrid and it'sa great club Thanx for postin Bro Nice pics Fairways & Greens 4ever Exactly what I was thinking, R.P. Super Tuna
What I've heard so far is that they're going to run two lines. The D100 is going to be the GI line, the FG is the players line. Huge Adams influence on the FG side given who the designer in. HillWilliam
I happen to like the logo...I know, the Mizzy totally clean look on it's blades is really gorgeous. No argument. But I like these quite a bit also. If they are $300 less than the comparable Mizzy's and play well....
