What do you use for a ball marker?

Pretty much all in the topic title, but who's got something unique?

 

I mostly just use a pokerchip with my course logo on it, but I'm always on the look out for something cool to use.

I use Toonies and Loonies(Canadian $2 and $1 coins)and if I'm near some ones line I use old penny's ( no glare)

I used to have a bestgrips poker chip, but I somehow lost it

 

Gonna have to order something to get a new one! In the meantime, a coin or a tee.

I use those little plastic ball marks with the small prod that stick into the green. I use ones from my home course with the logo on it. It bugs me to use anything else. Although I'll use a tee if I don't have any left.

I just got a new BestGrip poker chip to use with my new leather putter grip that I put on a reshafted putter. I hope to review both tomorrow. However, I use a Mizuno ball marker that attaches to a magnet on my visor most of the time.

I have an assortment of non-US coins. I prefer the 2 tone (bi-metallic gold and silver) coins. I have Euros, Canadian, Dominican Republic, Mexican. I have a lot of coins that are not 2 tone and occasionally will pull one of them out of the bag.

My favorite coin is a 100 Mexican Don Quixote Peso.

 

A number of years ago, I had a gold ball marker made from my wedding band from my first marriage. She hated golf. Unfortunately, it was in my golf bag when my car and clubs were stolen.

I use a University of Wisconsin coin/divot tool. Got to represent the home state! I'm always looking for something unique though. I have a few coins in my car that I have set aside specifically for golf; one of each denomination in my birth year except for the quarter. I haven't found a quarter from my year, so I use a Minnesota quarter to at least show a LITTLE love for MN.

I've got a bunch of markers. Lately, I've been using the pin from the latest Club Cameron kit. I snipped the pin off the back, ground that down flush and its a perfect ball marker. I've got all kinds of coins, etc. if I'm near anyone's line though I use an old solid silver dime that's tarnished.

I use this metal backed Breast Cancer ribbon, which I keep on a magnet clip on the right/back side of the bill of my visor.

 

I also have the same marker reversed, pink background, white ribbon, though I use this white marker for all final rounds, important rounds, etc.

 

Yea, I'm a littel supersticious, lol

I think all athletes are superstitious. In high school I wouldn't wear socks to my basketball games which in the winter made for some cold feet lol

I use a commemorative coin issued by my motorcycle club. Since it's a little larger than a poker chip, if I'm on (or near) someone's line, I use a dime instead.

University of Kentucky Coin that has the UK Logo on one side and the school seal on the other. I always use the UK Logo to mark. If I have to move my coin, I turn it over and use the school seal so that I know I have to move it back.

I use a one oz silver coin. It's huge and bright and usually aggravates players in my group so it's a win-win.

Ive got several of those coin ball markers. One is a Wisconsin Badgers and I have several Whistling Straits ball markers.

You should see the look that I get from Buckeye fans when they see my UW ball marker.

Ever since I reviewed the voice caddie, I've been using the marker that comes with it. It's pretty cool. It's got this metallic look and it appears to be either orange or purple, depending on what the light is like. I use it when I'm not using the voice caddie too.

My roommate in college did the same thing. Ronnie Harper, who went on to play for Cleveland, Chicago & LA, didn't wear socks to away basketball games. It was hilarious cuz the basketball team, like most of our teams, hadda wear sports jackets and ties.

 

It stemmed from HS, when he was running late, showed up at the bus minus his socks, and went into to score 40 some points, along with hitting the winning shot.

 

HaHa, thus began a "ritual" that he continued into the pros.

 

I was just curious if you heard of Ron's ritual, lol.

Haha that's funny cause I hadn't heard of him or that ritual. Mine came from being a county kid where I'd walk outside bare foot a lot and just felt more comfortable. So when I'd put my socks on I knew it was time to go to work so to speak lol

Oh Lord the redneck is gonna come out in me but I will be honest!! I have several poker chips from a tattoo parlor and a gentlemans club here in Myrtle Beach that a friend of mine owns.
