How Forum Testers Will Be Chosen

GolfSpy STUDque

All,

I'm going to go ahead a lock this thread from further posts, just to keep new folks from getting confused and posting their testing applications here. My sincere thanks goes to those who continue to help our new members.

For those new: read the opening few posts in this thread; they are essential instructions for getting involved in this awesome community! If you are trying to apply for a test, go back to the thread announcing the opportunity and reply to that thread.

Hopefully by them seeing more of the great content and sticking around past the testing stages will bring them in. Could even be worth bumping some of the previous years tests/reviews on g400 among others since a lot use the recent content to view the forums.

This should be linked to each forum testing opportunity.... Yet it would have to be read in the first place, which is the tough part.

Good bump though!

So before y'all email me again claiming our testing is a scam, we're geoblocking you, that we never announce winners, that you've been to the site every time there's a new testing opportunity yet never get picked, that we're desperate for testers and never choose you, and so on and so on and so on...
I'm BUMPING THIS THREAD!!!!

It's FRICKEN EASY!!!! Be active, participate, post good content, show us you care about our community and aren't just here for free sh&t.
You guys can do Geoblocking? That sounds pretty bad ass tbh

This...

Newbies beware. We all love you, and we all want you, but for Pete's sake (and who the Hell is Pete anyway...), do the above things and it's like friggin' magic. One-Hit-Wonders need not apply...!

I'd love to see a few ladies get in on some testing. I don't recall that ever happening.

They have to apply in order to be picked.  We have a really cool opportunity coming up for some ladies if we can find any around.

Let us know if we are missing them.

The Majority are guests, wonder how we turn them into members?

The long term answer is to keep on doing what MGS does. Quality, interesting content commented on by an engaged community. It’s not a “quick” process but in the long run it gives you an enduring site. Any fast process to grow would result in many more “one hit wonders.” Just my pennies in the till, for what it’s worth.
I joined during the time when MGS reviewed the Kirkland golf ball. I stayed because of the community, not because of the testing opportunities. I thought that chance was so slim that it would be like hitting the lottery. To be honest, I just hit the lottery by being selected, but it’s still not what keeps me coming back.

Hey, Gary, this is the wrong thread to post in. I don’t have the link for the correct one, but just a heads-up.

Hi there, you'd probably have better luck if you applied in the application thread which can be found here:
