[2023 MGS Forum Test: L.A.B. Putters]

I currently have an Edel EAS 1.0 which has just been fitted with a stability tour shaft. It looks and feels great but I'd be fascinated to see how the L.A.B. putters compare particularly on shorter putts which are a real weakness of mine-I just don't make enough of them and it's costing me shots! It's the absence of torsion which interests me and I can readily see the advantages from the L.A.B. putters but need convincing that it could be the putter not me and I'd benefit from this factor over my Edel. I'd also be interested to try a mallet rather than my current blade style putter although I was fitted for the Edel. I also have a feeling this would help my short putting but again would need convincing although it's fair to say I'm really tempted to buy an alternative just to find out. This is a great test of a really innovative technology and should provide some fascinating results-really looking forward to seeing them.

My son had a V2 and updated to a V3-both excellent products with a wealth of information-stats are really informative. He combines this with a Bushnell rangefinder as he’s at the stage where he needs precise distances on occasion. And I should add Shotscope customer service on occasion I’ve contacted them has been absolutely excellent. The ProLX looks like a really interesting idea and quality product that covers every single base. I’ve been looking at it and I’d love it to replace my ageing Garmin S2-distances/precise distances when needed and stats!
