I cut my putter down 2 inches and it was way too light. I don't know how much weight I added to it, but it was several strips on the bottom of the putter. It made all the difference in the world. It doesn't seem to have impacted the roll of the putts with the added weight on the bottom, but it definitely helped my putting stroke.
