All because of an August 2019 overheard conversation at work. Starting up again after a +20 year gap ($$, life, kids, work). These same factors limit my range and course time, but I still love the game more now than ever.

Played a lot in the early to mid 1990s in my late teens and early 20s in high school and during college primarily at Kitsap, Whatcom, Skagit county courses. Back then I gamed Top Flite Tours (Lee Trevino inspired) and a Callaway original Big Bertha Warbird Driver 10* stiff along with their 3W and 5W. Handicap was 10-15 depending on time of year and frequency of rounds.

Now working to break 90, then 80, then...

Love to tinker with clubs and shafts, and find building my own from components a nice side hobby; love new/used OEMs deals from previous years and find Golfworks-Maltby very interesting. No way am I paying retail for current versions from OEMs. Custom built all Maltbys and the Srixon Z H65 2H using a great condition used head and a new factory R flex Miyazaki shaft to blend into my other factory R flex hybrids; Srixon offered only it in S and X but as I like the 3H and 4H I just had to try it in an R flex too.
