I recently got fit for a driver and am also looking to upgrade my 3w.
I got my driver fully tipped as much as the manufacturer allows, so I was thinking I would be safe getting the same head and shaft combo but go 10gs heavier in the shaft in the 3 but only tip the shaft half the length.
I am trying to take spin off my driver and my thought process is I want a little more launch/spin from my 3 to attack greens, therefore would not tip as much?
I know ideally I would get fit again but local studios where I am can be limited with stock+time+money. Near enough is probably good enough for the level of golf I am playing.
