I recently purchased an Alphard V2 Booster for my Clicgear 4.0 manual cart, and, am I glad I did. I play a hilly course normally in Ontario, just east of Toronto and what a difference it makes. I'm 68, and I am so much fresher at the end of a round. Cost? Well I paid $950 Canadian and thats the best deal I could find up here. Some of the guys I golf with suggested that the 3 wheel swivel conversion kit that changes the static front wheel into two swivelling front wheels, would be worth looking at. They were right as if you are trying to turn on any concrete etc.. cart path then the static wheel just skidded. Also the V2 booster has 5 different speeeds, and you really couldn't go above the 3 setting and turn without problems. I just used the two wheels I removed to install the v2 booster which comes with it's own wheels. The front wheels swivel about 30 degrees. Set up time was about 45 minutes for the v2 booster and 15 minutes for the swivel conversion kit. No special tools needed. www.alphard.com under the manual section has all the helpful videos you need, which specify at the start what tools are needed. Cost of the Swivel conversion kit was $119 Can. I have played 3 rounds with them, and, I am loving it.
