Just found this thread when trying to figure out the cost to join Aldarra. I was lucky enough to play there today because a friend, of a friend, is a member. The course is amazing and in great shape! It is a fair, tree lined course and played true to the slope in my opinion. Lots of dog legs and no holes seemed similar and the greens were so pure. The rules were a bit much for me, no hat in the clubhouse, no cell phones in use in the clubhouse except the locker room, no putting shoes on in the parking lot. Overall though, it felt nice and not too stuffy. I usually play public courses, so I felt a little out of place but the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend doing what you can to play the course.
