I have only been playing for four years. I use the Garmin S62. I don't use all the functions, primarily the distance and distance to hazards. I almost never use the golf car GPS, the S62 is accurate and handy. The S70 looks great and it looks like it has the green slopes which I am not good enough to use and when I am close, I can see where I want to go. I do like the brighter screen. I especially like the Garmin app where I can review the game and confirm where I need improvement. It is also easy to use to input to the GIN handicap site. I do not use the Garmin everyday, although you can, I use an Apple watch daily because it functions i use frequently. I do wonder if there are other watches or apps that would be better, but I cant imagine what. I will take comments. Ps: I am currently dealing with an issue in my left eye and wear a patch over that eye. It has not affected my game, I may even be slightly better, hard to tell if its lessons or I am concentrating on not moving much as depth perception is poor... They do say... " keep your EYE on the ball"
