League play last night. Hole 4 was a hard dogleg right, par 5, 438 yards. Of course, we were hitting into a headwind. You need a 260-yard drive to clear the corner on a normal day. I was just short of the corner, and there's a tree that overhangs on the right side of the fairway. I attempted to bend it around the tree with a 5 wood. The ball went straight and landed on the left side of the fairway by the green and rolled up to the lower left side of the green. Pin placement was uphill and to the right, roughly 45 feet away. Aimed out about 4 feet to the left. Balled rolled up the green and within the last foot, it curved off the path and landed 2 inches short. Ended with a birdie instead.
