Hello all...First post here!
I am looking for some suggestions of what irons would be a good fit for my game. A little information about me...I am 31 years old and played golf some as a teenager. I got out of it for awhile and here in the last year have really picked it back up and am playing a lot. I have a cheap DIY sim build that I hit on in my garage and have gotten my handicap down to around a 12-14 with my best round being a 79. I swing somewhat hard...I dont know each iron speed but my driver is usually between 105-107mph. I hit my pw around 145 yds, seven iron around 175 yds, and 5 iron around 205yds. I have a set of Ping I3s that I love; however, they are getting some wear on them and I am close to needing to purchase a new set. I would like to stay with Ping as I have loved these irons but I am just looking for a good set to continue to get better with. I hate the new, chunky style like the G425 and have been looking at the i525/i230. But I am open to any brand suggestion as I don't even know what type of iron I should really be looking for.
