The LAB putters are lethal in the 5-15 foot range. I can drain significantly more of those with them than with my Scotty. Problem does come on lag putts because what makes the lab so good on those mid range putts is the lack of “feel”. It’s pretty much aim and shoot. I may be alone, but I think lag putting is basically all feel. You can’t really clock system your way to 45 footers because there are so many variables. Uphill, downhill, how much break, etc…they all work together. My friend bought the og DF1 with the broomstick. He is legitimately pro level on anything inside 10 ft. Absolutely lethal…but it’s probably in part due to the fact he leaves himself 5-10 footers to save a two putt on damn near every hole. For most amateurs, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, but if you’re a good player/putter…there’s a good chance the gains will kind of wash themselves out.
