Computing power for 4K on a very large screen?
Cameron Reddy replied to Cameron Reddy's topic in Golf Technology
I was reading in another forum, and someone had the same question. What graphics card for 4K on the same BenQ TK700Sti... And the only reply he had was to go with a 3080 or 4080 series card. Apparently, the 80 means something... -
Computing power for 4K on a very large screen?
Cameron Reddy replied to Cameron Reddy's topic in Golf Technology
Guys, thank you very, very much. You have made points I had not considered. In response, I just ordered a more powerful laptop. Also from Costco, but twice the price ($999). It’s the HP Victus 16.1”. Features: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H (14-Core) Processor, 16GB RAM NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070, 8GB Obviously, a more powerful processor and graphics card, with double the graphics card memory. It’s foolish to skirt the limits of this looking good when I’ve purchased a huge, premium screen and a 4K projector. I’m assuming THIS will work well. I hope! -

Gosh, thanks for the nearly instant reply! If I can ask a follow-up… Do you think it will run 4k well? I can easily return the laptop and get one a bit more powerful if that is advisable. -
Any graphics experts out there? I want to run a 4K projector (BenQ TK700Sti) on a very large screen (diagonal 169”). I picked up from Costco the Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop with these specs: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-13420H (8-Core) Processor NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2050, 4GB Is this going to run E6 and the like when they go 4K? Or do I need more power?

Sent mine back because the club “separators” are anything but. Grips from one section migrate to any other section. The so called “full length” separators are absolutely NOT. I was terribly disappointed.
