I have used a 7 wood for probably 30 years, and can always remember Trevino singing its praises as he marched to major victories during his career. I have currently been playing a Callaway Epic Heavenwood with a senior shaft in it. The club permits me a variety of shot options. I can more easily hit draw shots, or hit them high when I need that shot, and throw one up onto an elevated green and get it to stick. It's a real utility club
