Great idea, thanks

Thanks! That helps the google search! The next challenge would be to find the closest match shaft to Callaways own shaft on this driver then? Will look to get a driver fit to identify the most suitable shaft as I am sure the Epic Max has the tech to outperform the x2 hot+!

Thanks for the reply… but no, not the pro. I’ve attached some photos to the thread.

Some of the differences I’ve managed to find (x2 hot / x2hot+) below: aldila shaft / callaway shaft rrp - £279 / £199 loft adjust (removable head) / no adjusment maybe its a slightly more affordable version?

I have a Callaway X2 Hot+ Driver. Got on ok with it but decided to upgrade to something newer. Used an Epic Max for a while now and tried both XR and GBB Epic also. None of them have come close to distance of the biggest drive of the X2 Hot+ by about 20y I reckon. Maybe a fluke drive? But just wondered what the deal is with the hot+? There is absolutely no info available on the hot+ range so I have no idea who this club is aimed and why I get on so well with it. All I know is that it has no adjustability compared to x2 hot driver and a standard Callaway shaft. Does anyone know anything about it versus the standard X2 hot driver?
