  1. That might explain a couple of the ones that flew way further than expected from my original range report higher up. In my range session this week though, I maybe had 1 or 2 like that with my 7i SV2. But the 8i PD1 was pretty consistent and had a fairly tight band in terms of carry (low to high). I’ll keep monitoring but sounds like the SV2s may still have that issue. Pretty similar to reports on P790s that I’ve heard as well.
  2. @Brobin had a chance to hit the range yesterday evening. There was a clear 10 yard gap on average between my 7i and 8i, so no gapping issues that I'm seeing right now. Hope this helps!
  3. Hopefully they can find a way to keep the look of the fog finish with better durability. The P790s seem to do alright so it should be doable. Man, I'd go hit those PD.1s in a heartbeat if you're that close to Burnaby! Definitely the biggest concern I had when ordering them. Would love to hear what you think if you head over for a fitting
  4. Great question about the 8i. I don't think it's a gapping issue but will report back after hitting the range tomorrow. I'm guessing my 8i will fall in the mid-high 160s Definitely able to hold the greens. Wish I had a launch monitor to get you some more tangible data but might just need to take my word on this one. Let me know if there is anything else you're curious about!
  5. Sorry for the delay here - was out of town for labor day weekend. I've now hit the range a handful of times and gotten a few rounds in as well though. For context, I was switching from a set of red dot Ping G25s with stiff shafts. Haywood hit the nail on the head that they have the same performance as P790s/770s but a touch softer feel. They feel great off the face and I've had no trouble adjusting. My setup is: 4-7 SV.2s 8-A PD.1s Shafts: KBS Tour (Regular) No adjustment to loft or lie Pros: I've been able to hit longer, which was unexpected. I typically hit my 7-iron low 170s but have been hitting high 170s/180s when I catch it pure. Even hit an 8-iron 177 Clubs weren't much of an adjustment and I love the feel compared to the G25s PD.1s are very workable. Can hit a draw consistently which says a lot for someone with a tendency to slice Lots of compliments on the clubs from people I've been paired up with. When they hear the price, they are super surprised Cons: Biggest drawback has definitely been wear and tear. The fog finish is getting beat up and worn down pretty quickly. More so from bag chatter than on the face of the club. The aesthetics are still incredible but just a heads up for anyone buying them. Hopefully helps set expectations I don't get to hit them everyday. If money weren't a consideration, I'd be at the range/course every day haha
  6. @haywoodgolf SV.2 | PD.1 Combo Set finally came in! Took ~2.5 weeks from order to delivery. I'll let everyone know how my range session goes later today - getting out there after work. In the meantime, here are some glamour shots. Overall, very impressed by the build quality and fit/finish. They're gorgeous clubs and I can't wait to hit em. 7. Took a leap of faith and put in an order for the SV.2 | PD.1 combo set a couple weeks ago. I’ll report back once I have a chance to get some range sessions in and get out on the course (takes a few weeks for them to be built). Super excited to give them a go once I have them, given reviews of their other clubs seem to be stellar. Personally also a big fan of the new look of the SV.2s and very similar looking PD.1s
