  1. The sad truth is that very few people in any given profession have the true ability to teach, and only a percentage of those people have done the hard yards to hone their skills. To truly teach someone, you have to take them on a journey of discovery, and both parties have to be willing to put in the time. The teacher has to have the ability to tailor their instruction into a format palatable by the student, and the teacher must ... without exception ... be able to teach a variety of different solutions to the same problem. Anything else is simply "Do as I say and I'll make you great. Okay ...
  2. Is there a pattern to the missed putts? Are you not reaching the hole, or pulling/pushing on a regular basis?
  3. Ahhh ... A fellow Queenslander! My biggest problem, I'm sad to say, is one that may have no solution. I'm a fighting fit 63 years old. I plan to reach scratch, win the Qld amateur as a dress rehearsal to the open championship, turn pro and join the touring circus and make bucket loads of money. I give myself 3 years before the "Rheumatiz" sets in. I'm thinking I might have left my run a little late ...?

  5. Using TaylorMade burner 2 myself. I can understand why you'd be interested to re-acquaint yourself with them. If you want to travel 300 miles west of Brisbane Australia, perhaps we can negotiate a price over a beer or two ...
  6. You can only flip if the clubhead gets ahead of your sternum prior to impact. I would suggest to you that you focus strongly on staying connected on your downswing. Imagine you haven't had a shower for 4 days, and Paige Spiranac is standing real close. Keep those armpits closed! Oh, and if you happen to get her number, gimme a call, would ya?
  7. First Name: Michael Home State/Province: Queensland Australia Current Handicap: 15 Current Iron Set: Taylormade Burner 2 Length: Definitely one length ... I'm from the Land Down Under. Let's see if these suckers work upside down ... 😎
