  5. New to MyGolfSpy, but quickly becoming addicted. Not exactly sure what one shares in these posts, but I will say that I get out as often as possible, played most of the courses here in town, still hopelessly trying to get an invite to Camargo, and I'm willing to give any track a try. Originally from Birmgham AL, and moved up here back in 2009. Been playing golf basically my entire life and yet somehow I still manage a shank every now and then.
  6. Great idea, hopefully my addition saved
  7. Patrick Frye - 34 Ohio Getting off the tee. I used to be a long driver of the ball, but 5-6 years ago I hurt my back and couldn't play for several years. I've been reinventing my swing for the last 18-24 months and my ball striking with my irons has been improving greatly, but me game off the tee is totally inconsistent. Giant slices, snap hooks and everything in between. Every time I think I've got it figured out I start my next round and its back to square one. Even with the struggles I've managed to get my handicap down to an 8.8, but I know if i could just stay on the reservation with my driver I could really start shooting competitive scores again.
  8. Just seeing this thread for the firs time and it's some great reading. I've played a lot of courses over the years and it's hard to say that one is the most difficult. Shoal Creek plays pretty tough from the tips, they keep the greens usually run like lightening and unless your PGA long tour usually hitting long iron approaches. Also recently played my first Seth Raynor, Charleston County Club, which was the exact opposite of Shoal. Strategy the entire way, short course that requires thoughtful and accurate decisions. The greens were also incredibly fast and so subtle, place plays pure. I've been playing golf for 25+ years and the more I play the more I prefer the later. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Heard about these a few months ago from a guy I know in retail. These are wet dream worthy Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I signed up as well when I saw the email, but I found it strange too. When was the release of the latest ProVs 6-8 months ago? The R&D process to improve the ProVs has to be at least 18 months right? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  12. I've been playing mizunos for years and the have a timeless quality. Unfortunately that's part of their problem I assume. I've met more than a handful of people who will tell you they will never give up their m32s, mp4s or in my case m60s because they just stand the test of time. I've had these irons for almost 12 years and I'm thinking about upgrading when the new wave of mizunos are released in the fall, but why fix something that isn't broken? 15. Patrick / Ohio 10.8 Mizuno MP 60 JPX 900 Tour Was out of the game for 5 years after back injury. Finally got back into swinging last season and as I try to get back to my 4 handicap I would love to put some new workable mizunos in play Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
