If the objective is to shoot a lower score, than definitely not!!!! A new pair of golf shoes will not substantially outperform a model that is 2 or 3 years old. I don't think the "cleats" technology has improved that much since changing metal spikes to plastic. Does anyone else think that paying $150~$200 for the latest golf shoes is just ridiculous!
