  2. M4, Mitsubishi shaft, 9.5 degrees. By metrics I meant, like spin, launch angle, etc. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Was hitting it well during the fitting. All of the metrics on the system were better than my old driver. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Hi All, I got a new custom driver a few weeks ago from a Top 100 Clubfitter according to Golf Digest. I tried 5 or 6 different shafts and 5 or 6 different club heads. We looked at all the numbers and figured out which combo was best. I was cranking it out there on the simulator with this particular combo. I played with it for the first time yesterday. Was duffing drives, which I never do. And when I did hit it, the ball flight was extremely low. There were one or two drives that I did hit well, but mostly what I described before. The only thing different from the fitting is the grip on the club, because they don't change out the grips during the fitting. Any ideas on why this was happening? Maybe just getting used to it? Irons were struck well during the round, so I wouldn't say my swing was off for the day. Hard to score well when I am in the rough off the tee all day. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! 5. I was fitted by a Top 100 clubfitter according to golf digest, so I am hoping he did a good job. I hit them pretty well, but this was also five years ago. My swing could be different by now. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Paige is incredible. I follow her on Instagram. She is a true ambassador for the sport and I am happy that she stands up to the haters of the world. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. I currently have the X100 on my TaylorMade RBZ irons. I was custom fitted for them, although I see a lot of pros play with the X100s, which makes me think they could be too stiff for me? Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. I probably need new shoes. I see all these new golf shoes that look and feel like normal sneakers, but I prefer the cleated shoes. That's what I learned to play with and I think they definitely grip the ground better, when needed. I like the puma/cobra gear. Any suggestions on a shoe from them? 9. I think hybrids are better from out of the rough, helping you escape easier and giving you distance out of there. I do use my hybrid on the fairway sometimes, but I prefer to use a low iron if I can. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Hi All, I bought the Snell Black based on reviews. I haven't had a chance to play with them yet, but I've also read good things about the OnCore Elixar. They are similarly priced. Do you think it makes sense for me to pick up a dozen of the Elixar before I try the Snell? Or see if I like the Snell, and if I do, just buy more of those. I am really liking the idea of using only a direct to consumer ball now, or something not from the big companies, like an OnCore ball. Thanks!
