Born and raised in Alaska now in the PNW,  started golfing about 5 years ago but really started to work on my game about 2 years ago.  Started with a 34 handicap and as of 3/6/19 posting a 22.4 and plan on getting that down below 20 by summers end.  Golf equipment junkie - like to read about club and shaft specs, watch a ton of videos on golf and golf reviews to better understand technology and equipment and how to digest it to help my game.
