I live in Texas and golf year round. Summer can be a challenge but it’s possible with an early tee time and lots of water. I play Callaway XR 16 driver and irons senior shaft. I use a 1996 Scotty Cameron Catalina putter. My wedges vary from Vokey to Cleveland. My ball ranges from Avx to Vice and I’ve tried quite a few others. I’ve been playing for about 25 years. My game is consistent and I play for recreation and fellowship.

No just no. It’s distracting and rude if it can be heard by anyone other than the person playing. Use earphones

Soft spikes always. I tried spikeless. I stepped on a patch of grass with mud under it and my foot went sliding out from underneath me and I landed flat on my back. Never wore them again.
