  1. Thanks! They really are a great set. I don't have the room anymore for as many extra clubs as I would like . . . so I've got to part with them
  2. ** Price Drop** set is collecting dust as it's my third option. Happy to see it go somewhere where it would get some actual play. thanks!
  3. Mizuno JPX 921 5-PW Combo Set (JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro 5 & 6, JPX 921 Forged 7 - PW) $OLD shipped (continental US) ***Pictures were taken in full sun to highlight any cosmetic issues or scratches*** Face on shots are PW - 5, in order Shafts are Project X 6.5 chrome, at +0.5" over standard Grips are Golf Pride Z Grip Cord (Midsize) with the logos down. Standard lies The HM Pro play 2 degrees weak from their stated lofts to match the progression of the JPX Forged Lofts are: 5 - 24* 6 - 27* 7 - 31* 8 - 35* 9 - 40* PW - 45* I'm clearing out a lot of my equipment this fall and as this is my third option set they're up for sale. Given that I'm not gaming these clubs on a regular basis, there's no reason for them to be collecting dust. I'd rather see them go somewhere where they will get used. Clubs have only seen a little play this year - about 3 full rounds on the course and range time on a grass range for the 8, 9, & PW. The range is a little sandy so there are some cosmetic scratches on the faces of these clubs (5, 6, & 7 have very few cosmetic issues on their faces as they didn't get used much either on course or on the range). The top lines and soles are in great shape with no bag chatter or large dents, dings, etc. as the clubs were well taken care of. Overall these clubs are in fantastic condition. They have a few cosmetic blemishes that won't affect play. Please let me know if you have any questions. thanks!
  4. Set of Right Hand Miura TC-201 Irons, 5 - PW for sale. $1,575.00 (OBO) Bought this set to try out last fall, kind of on a whim. My club didn't have any to demo and there weren't many places around me that had these in stock to try. Loved the feel of the clubs, but not sure that they are 100% the best for my game based on where my swing is right now, so I've rationalized with myself it's ok to part ways with these beauties. They're gorgeous clubs and by the time I get done with writing this FS topic, there's a non-zero chance that I will have convinced myself to not sell them. However, given that I keep defaulting to my other sets it’s probably time to see these Miuras off to someone else who will actually use them. I'm not going to tell you anything you don't already know about Miura, so I'll skip the additional text about how amazing they look and feel (they really do feel amazing). Here are the deets: Loft: Standard Lie: Standard Length: +1/2” Shaft: Project X 6.5 Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord, standard size Custom Miura Ferrules in silver The clubs are in great shape, with some of the irons literally being hit only once. Most of my testing was done with the 7-iron and Pitching wedge, so those two clubs have some scratches on their faces. The clubs were only hit on a grass range (no mats) and a couple of clubs saw use during a single round. The range is a little sandy so that contributed to some of the superficial scratch marks on the faces. Otherwise, the clubs are pristine. All top lines are perfect. No dings, marks, or bag chatter. Soles and grooves and everything else are also mint. Face views of the clubs start at PW and progress in order to 5 iron. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
  5. One more reduction - $385 shipped. Message me if interested
  6. Wish I could help. I know the one you're talking about. I've got a similar putter - the Odyssey O-Works Black Marxman - kicking around that I'm not using. If that's of any interest, please feel free to message me. Otherwise, good luck!
  7. Any takers? Price reduction to $415. I've got new irons coming and I'd love for these to go to a good home before my new irons show up. Again - they're in really good shape and are great clubs, I'm just looking to try something completely different this year. thanks!
  8. Thanks! This seems like a pretty chill place to chat about golf. Glad to be aboard.
  9. Still cleaning out the extra clubs . . . Callaway X Forged UT Driving rIon (2018) KBS Tour $-taper black X flex shaft +1/2 long 22 degrees (it's one degree weak but it's stamped as 21*) Golf Pride MCC Grip It's in great shape - there's a little scratch on the sole by the "1" in the 21 stamp, but other than that it's free of all of the usual dings, dents, and bag chatter. I thought I was going to use this as my go to off the tee on short or tight par 4s, but I liked my Ping G410 hybrid a lot more so this is just going to sit around and collect dust. Might as well go to a good home. $115 shipped (OBO) Send me a message if you're interested. thanks!
  10. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I was first introduced to golf about 35 years ago, but I've only been serious about learning the game and getting better for maybe the last 5 years. I don't have an official handicap but on an average day I'm in the mid-90s (hoping to change that for the better this year). What do you love about golf? The challenge of playing consistently, the natural beauty of golf courses, and the fact that I can unplug and just enjoy something outside for a number of hours. Also, I have to mention equipment. I absolutely love golf equipment. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I've been coming to the website for years but never joined the forum. A lot of my spare time is spent reading up on pretty much anything I can find that's equipment related, so MGS is a great place to check out. I usually stay away from the commercial publications because if I wanted the manufacturer's opinion, I'd just go to their website. The data that accompanies club reviews on MGS is always interesting to parse through. Where are you from? What is your home course? I'm from Connecticut and my home course is The Griff (Griffith E. Harris Golf Course) in Greenwich, CT. I've also got a get away place on Kiawah Island, so Kiawah is fast becoming my home course. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? In CT, the best things are spring and fall golf when the weather is pretty much perfect. The worst things are the winter weather and SLOW play. I'm pretty quick on the course and if I'm just playing on my own I'll get 18 holes in under 3 hours. A lot of the courses that I play in my area are dreadfully slow - which definitely affects when I go out to play. I'm more apt to go out at twilight, when I can just cruise along without having to wait 10 minutes on every tee box. What do you do for a living? I'm an attorney and run the legal department at a tech startup in NYC. How’d you pick your user name? Brogan was my Great Dane of 11 1/2 years.
  11. Cleaning out my basement of some of my equipment that I'm replacing this season. Titleist 718 CB Irons 5, 7, 8, 9, PW KBS Tour C-Taper X Flex. $450 $415 shipped (contiguous US only). Set plays .75" long. All lofts are 1* weak (e.g. PW plays 48). Why no 6 iron? Because I've charted my data with Game Golf and I actually never hit 6 iron on the courses I play. Clubs are in great shape. Soles are generally without a single mark (except the 5 iron which has one small blemish). Top lines are absolutely perfect - no bag chatter or dings. Even though these were played for a season and a half, they have been treated and kept very well. 5 and 8 have almost no face wear. 7, 9, PW have some scratches on the faces consistent with normal wear. Golf Pride MCC Grips black/white. Prefer to sell the entire set, but if you just want the 7-PW will consider offers.
