  1. Thanks, didn't know that kind of product existed. I should be ok though, I'm only going to go about an inch beyond the shaft. Also, the grip I got is sturdy and 13" long, plus the counterbalance weight itself essentially will act as the shaft extender once installed, so there should be zero 'flop'. I think this only works with a putter in this type of scenario... doing this to an iron, driver, etc the flop would be a huge problem.
  2. Thanks @McGolf, also very helpful. I would agree I'm not violating any aspect of the USGA quote you posted. I would also keep the counterbalance top flush with the end of the grip (I'm sure you're familiar with Superstroke's counterbalance system, it screws in at the top of the grip). So that wouldn't be extending and by looking at the club you would have no idea the grip is longer than the shaft.
  3. When regripping, is it a requirement for grips to be pushed down all the way to the butt of the shaft? Or can you leave a bit of the grip extended beyond the end of the shaft? Reason I ask, I'm counterbalancing my 35" putter, and want the cb weight further above my hands. As opposed to reshafting or getting a new putter, I bought an XL superstroke grip and would like to put it on with a bit of overhang, and then the counterbalance weight is further above my hands. Is that legal?
