🚨 Testers Wanted! 🚨

TWSM10-Feature.jpg

The new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges were released in March of this year and have been a popular addition to many golfers' bags since. We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.

About The Vokey SM10 Wedges

MyGolfSpy Staff member Tony Covey has a complete breakdown of the new SM10 wedges here , which is a must-read, but the shorter version is Vokey SM10 is focused on three key elements: versatility, distance control, and trajectory, and maximizing spin. The Vokey SM10 lineup has six different grind options for a total of 25 different loft, bounce, and grind options.

This includes the M Grind that had previously only been available through WedgeWorks and T Grind that has also made its way to the retail market. The other options that a golfer must choose from are the finish, and the SM10 has three of them: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and the new addition Nickel.

There’s more though; the Vokey SM10 has refined the shape and CG placement to help optimize distance control and trajectory. This works in tandem with their spin-milled grooves that have groove geometry that varies depending on the loft to maximize spin for each loft.

Titleist Wedge Selector Tool

Of course, all of this can be a lot to take in, so Titleist offers an online Wedge Selector Tool to help simplify things. It is a series of eight questions which gather various information about your current setup and game to help make the best recommendation on what setup would be best for you. To try it yourself, go here!

What Is Being Tested?

As previously mentioned, we are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges. We want you to tell us how they perform in real-world conditions and play. Importantly, we also want to know how the Wedge Selector Tool works and if the recommendations are what you would normally expect.

The selected testers will go through a Titleist Fitting for their wedge set and see how it compares to the results from the Wedge Selector Tool.

Think you are the right golfer to participate in this test?

I currently play Cleveland Zipcore wedges, but have really been considering switching over to Vokeys. Great opportunity and glad to be in the running. If selected, I am left handed. Thanks!IMG_6512.png.4257ef3b8d6e7b2c7c000928a194eca4.pngIMG_6513.png.2f89ef9512295e5968e91214a75b8f68.png

Not a super different setup to my wedges currently but, a lot different bounce setup.

This is an interesting one.  I was custom fit for my current SM9's when they first came out and have 50/12/F, 54/14/F and 60/14/K with limited edition black Modus 115 shafts.  I went to a very reputable Scottish fitter for them in the hope that any indecision about wedges would be removed by the process.  However, being totally honest, I've never liked them.  I don't like how they feel compared to my irons, I've never really liked the trajectory they put on the ball and I've never had total confidence in them.  BUT, I do like how they look and having spent so much money on them, they've stayed in the bag!

The selector tool recommended quite a different set make up.  I wouldn't got with the 46 as my iron PW is that loft.  I would be interested to try them and see if they offer any real improvement over my current set.  Getting them in the dark finish has been excellent for Scottish links conditions as, despite the weather today, chrome wedges can have bad reflection issues.

That's a bit of dirt on my PW, not a dent 😉

Used to use Vokeys in college but have been using Cleveland since, more recently the RTG. Would love to testwedges.jpg.bc73e1b874c48e44becacf62c356520c.jpg out these Vokey's and get back to the Titliest family!

With my Vokey SM6 56deg SW being my workhorse wedge, I'd love to see how a full wedge set could help my wedge game.

Very interested here. I started out with some old Cleveland wedges then bought a set of Bombtechs then I stumbled upon a TM MG3 and it was much better than the other so I got 2 more of them to match but now I feel like I should've just got fit right at the beginning since I think wedges are the most important clubs in your bag but its not my strongest area.

Interesting to see the suggested wedge lofts when considering what i currently have in the bag! Would be a dream to test a set of these out!

Good luck all

Currently using Bombtech, cheap wedges, but  great for a new player. I would love the opportunity to test out something with better quality to really see a difference.
