I believe the Titleist RCT is picked up by Doppler and the Callaway RPT has the dot patterns picked up by the camera.

I inquired with Rapsodo; if you don’t use the Callaway RPT balls, you don’t get spin and spin axis numbers. So pretty much at this point you won’t get those numbers unless you are hitting into a net. Likely because without the marked balls the accuracy isn’t there.
