That’s pretty much bang on other than the etching on the sole and the sight line. The only reason I think it’s the Rawlings is the sight line for the one I found was the exact same. looking at all the possible similarities I wouldn’t be surprised if brands just ordered these heads from a manufacturer and did their own little thing with them. Kind of cool to see in my opinion.

I don’t want to do anything crazy to it, just touch up some of the nicks and dings. Think it might be more trouble than it’s worth because as you can see there’s many of those. Definitely want a new shaft though.

As far as the shaft and grip, the shaft is a basic True Temper steel and the grip is a “Scotte” with a not Scotty Cameron crown at the top.

Hey guys, was hoping someone could help me figure out what kind of putter it is I have. This flat stick used to be my grandfather’s that he had since I was a old enough to wiff drives. I inherited it from him when he passed away in 2016, and I want to look into restoring it because it is a sentimental piece for me. I did some looking online and the closest thing I can find to it is the Rawlings Tour Magic. The size of the head and face are identical as well as the sight line colours. Only difference is the bottom face doesn’t have anything engraved in it. My grandfather was a really big baseball fan and had an old set of Rawlings irons too, that’s what made me think that this is a Rawlings. if anyone maybe used to game something like this and offer some input that would be awesome! and yes before you ask, this putter is mid toe balanced….

The putter I bought from my local shop was listed at $450 CAD (I’ll let you do the math lol). It’s a great putter if I’m being honest, just a real good kept secret. I’d give the number I listed a call or fire him an email. The only thing about this putter is the grip, pretty tough and there back is stitched which takes some getting used to (but looks really nice IMO, so it’s worth it)

So I found a listed email ([email protected]) and a phone number (817-304-4717) that you can contact him at. I sent him an email asking what he offers and he said to call him and we can talk about doing custom work. Seems to like doing it the old fashioned way, his website doesn’t work but he is for sure still making putters. I guess my local shop just orders a batch of customs from him to move.

I saw something about him going out of business back in 2016, then him launching a line of custom, handmade putters back in 2018 with a commercial for them posted last year on YouTube. The local pro shop I go to has some in store and says they have a rep that gives them brand new so I’m not sure what to think.

Can you buy these anywhere else? I found one at my local shop, couldn't tell if it was used or not. I tried to go on their website but it just led me to an inactive domain site. Really enjoyed the one I had my hands on, just can't find anything or anywhere to buy a new one.
