I played yesterday at a golf course close to me, a shorter course, and shot a 41 for 9 (I only had time for nine)! It was in preparation for a high school tournament I have there tomorrow. Through 2 holes I was +3 , I had a 3 putt on one and lost my tee shot to the dreaded snap hook on two. I step up with zero hopes for the next shot and sure enough hit it 20 yards left, pin high though. My dad told me at this point, no more negatives until something positive happened. That's when I hit a beautiful flop shot that went in for birdie from about 35 yards away. Best hole of the day and led me to play better throughout the day.
