Overall this was a pretty solid round for my skill of play. This course can be very penalizing with lots of pine trees. Hitting fairways was the key today, and hitting the green from tree fairway allowed me to keep momentum. Putter was cold for the front nine but stayed steady. Lots of two putts staying out of trouble. For my own personal game, the difference in me shooting 70s and 80s is careful calculation of my club selection and shot shape. Today I did that well. More caution on two holes with water and I could’ve went a little lower.
