Carts are part of the reason, because it is hard to play ready golf. I play public courses out here in the Southwest, the slate is filled from morning to dusk, and there is a high percentage of high handicap players. People who don’t generally know where they’re going to hit the ball are more often going to play slower. I know that going in, and I don’t hold that against anyone.
