Well, interesting subject. I never have an expectation of winning a scramble for the reasons stated. Best a team I was a part of scored was 14 under and that was straight up, no string or extra putts. We each bought one mulligan though. For me it’s more about playing as a team and the enjoyment of contributing to the end result.

Worked on my approach shots from 100 yards in. I recently bought some Vokey SM9 wedges and am trying to dial in trajectory and distances. Had a great round yesterday by concentrating on my swing tempo with great results. Funny but true that the basics cure most issues on the course although the mind can be our worst enemy!

Well, new to the forum so figured I would jump right in. I am in the Fort Worth area and went out to Leonard Links for a wedge fitting. Surprisingly I never thought to do a fitting for wedges but being 6’4 I figured I needed to. Ended up with Vokey SM9’s (50F-54D-58D) and played them twice since they arrived at Fossil Creek and Waterchase. Needless to say the ball stops on a dime so really need to get used to them but am happy with my purchase. Looking forward to meeting you all and appreciate a place where we can chop it up about golf!
