  1. Update. I left my r10 sit in the box for 30 days then returned it to golf galaxy. I was having buyers remorse and started looking for a used mevo or skytrak on marketplace in my area. Also heavily considered mlm2pro before I went back out and bought the garmin again. I’ve had it set up for a week now and have used 4 times so far. the r10 sits 8 feet behind ball and I hit anywhere between 7.5-9.5 feet from net depending on club loft. Hitting into a 7’ tall net and the wedge almost clears the net at 7.5. I hit 10 balls in the garmin range then downloaded awesome golf. Absolutely loving it so far. I started with a 7 iron. AT first I was hitting it 150 which is short of my typical 170 on course. So I put a course swing in and started seeing the correct numbers. ive learned so much about my swing in a week than I did over 20 years of golf. Just from effort of swing and the distance variances. I’m seeing the proper shot shape on awesome golf. Draw, fade, pull draw, pull fade. It’s pretty damn accurate. Only one missed shot. I’ve also made 2 trips to my local range with trackman to confirm the swing variance and it pretty much matched up to what I saw on the r10. I had an issue with getting e6 courses for free. Garmin code wouldn’t work but e6 just corrected that for me. So will try e6 next. But I’m still in the market for skytrak or if the wife lets me at some point to upgrade to the uneekor eye mini. Will keep updating as I play more and add more to my setup. Just using used range mat, phone and a net
  2. I’ve played 4 rounds with this driver so far. Absolutely loving the feel and sound outdoors. My average carry is up a solid 12 yards over the old gamer and it is truly hard to miss the fairway with it. My bad drives the big push fade are staying in play. So overall I’m very happy and feeling confident off of the tee box again
  3. My pw is 44. And I carry a 48,52,56. Only use 48 and 52 for full shots and do everything else with the 56. 56 has been the best club in my bag for several years now.
  4. Nice. I got mine yesterday but it is still in the box. I won’t be able to set it up until early next week. I’ll let you know how my experience is once I do. I plan on getting awesome golf for it. Think it’s like $350 for lifetime. But have been told it has the most accurate readings out of all of the apps if you are really trying to get a judge for your metrics. I’ll keep you updated.
  5. Looking for suggestions of what kind of turf to buy to make some mats and hitting strips for the new launch monitor. Just not sure if turf from Home Depot is good enough or should I find a place that deals in sports turf. Thanks I’m advance
  6. Just got my new pxg gen 6 and played my first round this morning. I previously played a stock maverick max driver. I can say that I def saw 15 yard distance gains and better dispersion than my maverick. Best driving round I’ve had in 2 years. I’m not saying the club itself is that much better. I think that is just the difference of being fit and having a shaft that compliments me. I was losing a lot of distance from spin and launch angle. But the club feels great. Go give a swing
  7. Looking to buy a Garmin r10 in the next couple of days. I was between the original rapsodo mlm and the Garmin r10. going to be using mostly outside with a net and if I can figure out the spacing I’ll use in the garage as well too. Will also mainly just use my phone for data or to play a round here and there. just looking for some feedback from those that have used. Since using with iOS what subscription would you mostly recommend to get? and are there any big likes or dislikes you have for the unit? Or any tips? thanks for the feedback
  8. Thanks to some members replying to my last post about pxg fitting questions, I decided to go for my driver fitting. current driver is a Callaway maverick max with a push fade shot shape most is the time. Finding 30% of fairways. so I go into pxg Cincinnati “very welcoming atmosphere “ meet my fitter and discussed what I’m looking for. Did a warm up and then started shots with my driver. 6 swings in my driver snapped and head flew off but got a good idea of my distance, spin, flight. My fitter then put me in a gen6 xf head and a variety of shafts. Made a couple of tweaks to my set up and attack angle that allowed me to get much better dispersion left center of fairway, 20 yards more carry and 5 more yards roll. Needless to say I made the purchase. Put me in a tensei av white shaft and didn’t think he could get better results with an upgraded shaft except the $350 vents upgrade that he felt wouldn’t be worth. Overall happy with the experience and he gave me a in person discount for the driver $485 after tax out the door. Can’t wait to get it to the course!
  9. Looking to do a driver fitting in the next couple of days and just recently had a pxg store open in the Cincinnati area. They are having a fitting sale going for around $12.50. I’m curious if anyone has been fit at a pxg and your experience. Do they push to update to premium shafts? And what are your thoughts on the drivers? also if you were fit for other drivers what were your thoughts in comparison of results. Thanks
