The regular head in 9 degrees might have worked as well. Also, I was hitting new range balls. What effect they had on ball speed and spin I don't know. I didn't try the X model or the new Big Bertha because I hit a draw and extra draw weighting is scary. With the heavy weight in the front, the TD had too little spin, but with the heavygame weight in the back, it was just about perfect. FYI, my angle of attack was around 5 degrees up for almost all the swings and I was getting very high efficiency numbers. I even hit 1.5 efficiency on one swing. I felt that mis-hits were every bit as forgiving as mis-hits with my Taylormade Sim 2 Max. So, if you're a slow swinger, don't sleep on this driver. It might just work for you.
