  1. Glad to hear you're recovering, @Tom the Golf Nut. If you haven't checked out this stuff already, I recommend checking out electrolyte supplements from brands like LMNT, Cardnl, and Re-Lyte. I've tried them all and they do a great job of keeping me hydrated. I try to avoid drinking water without electrolytes, especially out in the heat and humidity because it can lead to hyponatremia. Hope I'm not overstepping! Just wanted to offer something that's worked for me.
  2. Hey everyone, Long time lurker and first-time poster. Excited to start engaging a bit more with the community. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I started playing golf as a toddler and played through high school. I quit playing shortly after and didn't pick it up again until early 2022. Shooting in the mid-70's most of the time with the occasional outlier in either direction. What do you love about golf? I love how difficult it is. Much like jumping into an ice bath, facing golf's anxiety-provoking situations makes me appreciate the easier things in life. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I love that I can find a review for almost anything golf-related on MyGolfSpy. Currently don't know any other Spies. Where are you from? What is your home course? Lived most of my life in Southern California, but currently reside in Chattanooga, TN. I like to call Bear Trace at Harrison Bay home, but also play at Brainerd Golf Course often. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Golf is relatively affordable and the courses can be played year-round. Pop-up storms in the summer can ruin your round. One minute it's bright and sunny, the next you're running to the clubhouse for shelter. What do you do for a living? I work as a support specialist in tech and I'm also a fitness coach. How’d you pick your user name? It's just my last name.
