Launch day for Sun Day Red…are you buying? Or what have you bought?

In the area I live, Calgary, Canada we are very close to some beautiful mountain courses. For a non-residence, Banff Springs is $319CDN for a weekend round. It’s a gorgeous course, and worth playing if you’re in the region and want to play a historical course. The other mountain courses range from $144 (Kananaskis) to $200 (Silver Tip) to $230 (Stewart Creek). All different and worth playing. There are lots of courses in and around Calgary that are fantastic and range from $85-$150 with some deals in the smaller towns. If I’m playing, I’m budgeting $100CDN for a round.

I’m looking at some new wedges. Has anyone done the Titleist short game clinic and fitting? From the website it’s $299 CDN, you get 4 hours of instruction and a fitted SM10 wedge ($260 CDN). Something a little different to promote their clubs.

Just bought a Foresight GC3 this winter. I started with FSX Plax, however recently switched to GSPro. Both are great but GSPro is absolutely amazing! Fingers crossed that winter practice will translate to the course!

Ha - great topic…first response is first hole of any boys trip! Guaranteed shank! At my home course (Redwood Meadows), I have my own personal Amen’s Corner. Holes 13-15, fairly short par 4, dogleg left par 5 with water down the left and par 3 over water…they are the make or break for my round!
