  1. I go back and forth between whether wedges are the most important clubs to get fit for or the least important. Most important because they're your scoring clubs, least important because of the high loft and ability to put your iron shaft into your GW (and then why not just stick a Hi-Rev or something in your SW/LW). What say you?
  2. Marshmallow is the perfect description. Must just take some getting used to bc it means you've hit it well, but that's not necessarily the initial thought after you've hit it.
  3. Okay so a weird comment and two questions. I was hitting the Mizuno 241 and hitting it great, but it almost felt too soft? It's probably bc I haven't hit a blade in a while, but it was weird. Am I alone/crazy in that? Questions: I was fitted for irons a few years ago and fit into the C Taper lites. I've gotten a bit stronger but still hitting them well. Is there a need to get fitted again?
  4. Yes! Will check his article because need to read about any potential gapping issues. Which is also what makes the Pings an interesting option, since they provide a little more help in the longer irons.
  5. After hitting the T150 and King Tour, T150s are the clear leader in the clubhouse. Numbers were great, especially spin, and felt fairly soft. King Tours were alright but lagged behind in every category. Now need to hit the Blueprint S and MP241s (the 241s won't work but I *need* to hit them)
  6. Just wanted to say thanks, all, for welcoming me to the forum and providing some thoughtful answers. Seems like a great community.
  7. Thanks for the suggestions, will take a look. And yeah, he was just like "something between a blade and what you're currently playing"
  8. This is a pretty exhaustive list. Thank you!! Will do some digging now
  9. Yeah fair question. They don't spin enough, for which my instructor suggested it might help playing a thinner/smaller/less game improvement-ey head (not sure of the veracity of that statement). I also get the occasional flyer. Also, just generally would prefer a smaller head profile than the thick/dense ZX5 head. Thank you. Will take a look.
  10. Hi all, first time posting here after making the switch from Wrx. I'm looking at picking up new irons for the first time in a few years and I'm looking for suggestions on irons that fall between Players Distance and Blades. Currently game the ZX5, but my game has outgrown them. Currently a 5.6hcp and looking for something with a smaller profile but still has some forgiveness. Planning to hit the T150 and King Tour, not sure what else. I'm LH, so unfortunately can't try the MP 243. Wonder if the 241 will be too bladey and the 245 will be too big. Thoughts? Edit: not too interested in the ZX7. Want to try something new.
