  1. No gonna lie... kind of sad your reviews came to an end. Feels like withdrawal symptoms!
  2. No, keep 'em coming... it's quite inspiring... what would be your distances to the flags during a round of 18? I'm guessing you're hitting more GIR than before? Tbh, trying to figure out if you're just a great putter! And, if you aren't already, will you be playing any local competitions?
  3. Some more incredible shots! An ace can’t be far away!
  4. I just read your “record round” post, and your “updated signature” post… I asked about keeping the vice irons because I thought you weren’t committing to them … and all I could think was damn if you’re hitting these this well how dang well were you hitting your gamer cobra irons! Happy for your awesome round!
  5. WOW, epic! Congrats, it was only a matter of time based on your previous rounds! You should frame these pictures and the score card! Also, I’ve throughly enjoyed following your vice irons journey. I’m actually a bit sad at the thought that it will end! My wife is worried I’m going to buy a set… lol. Will you continue with the vice air balls? Or go back to your regular golf ball?
  6. Maybe a 4 hybrid to fill the 5i to 2 hybrid gap.... or grip down to the shaft on the 2 hybrid and see if that drops swing speed enough to fill the gap. But the 2 hybrid numbers look good. Worth a hit out on the course!
  7. I have to say that the performances you are getting, especially out of the scoring short irons, are quite impressive. How are the faces holding up? Just wondering if they are marking up quicker than you expected. Also, it might be a bit too early, but do you think these will replace your regular irons?
  8. That’s a tough one because need to consider a few things. A 2 Hybrid is 17 degrees (well mine is). It’s shorter than my woods (I have 3, 5, 7, and 9 woods - in rotation), so it is easier to strike the ball, but to be honest, not a lot of difference, because it’s still like a long iron. You need a decently fast swing speed due to the low loft, I don’t play my 3 iron anymore because I don’t have the swing speed I had when I was in my 20’s. But if you strike your long irons well then give it a shot. I find the majority of par 5s I’m not trying to get there in 2 anymore, mainly because of course design. So I find I’m using it off the tees where a driver is not the right call. And imho with a low lofted club total yardage is just as important as carry because it rolls so far. If you want to try a 2 hybrid try eBay for a cheap Adams golf 2 hybrid, they are cheap, and really good clubs so worth a try. Mine is an Adams Golf 2 hybrid, and I still use it. If you are still reading, I’m kinda guessing you’ve already tried to grip down (to the bottom of the grips) on the woods. - I still do that on tight fairways where I need the control over max club distance.
  9. What a golf shot! ... interesting about the chatter marks, great to know and consider.
  10. Really appreciate the effort you are making for us! Trying not to bombard you with comments. Once the range dries up, will you try another comparison between your irons?
  11. Mighty impressive, eager to see the range numbers and a comparison with your other irons.
  12. That is very impressive! Eager to see further rounds!
  13. Oh wow... congrats guys... eager to hear how you go.!!!
  14. I swapped it out, But grip down before you give up on the 3w if you need the distance (for longer courses) For me 5 wood and 7 wood interchange depending on the length of the course. I'm finding 7w used more lately, even have a 9 wood now to reduce roll-out when going for a green. I think I was only using 3 wood once or twice a round at best, some times not at all.
