  1. Happy to be here & love the content MGS is putting out! How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? -Been playing most of my life, started when I was about 10, now 32. Played in high school then fell off in my 20s, taking golf seriously again the past few year. Currently an 8.3hc fight to break 80 as often as possible. What do you love about golf? - My late grandfather got me into the game, so I love feeling a connection to him still. Otherwise, I love the challenge it presents as a player and the opportunity to be outside in beautiful places. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? - Found MGS last year while heavily researching new irons. Ended up getting fitted for Mizuno irons and read everything I could about them. Where are you from? What is your home course? - Currently living on Long Island, NY. Play Bethpage most often (not black, but I have played it). What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? - Best is a large number of courses, worst is extreme competition for tee times, especially at Bethpage. Also it's hard being so close to multiple top courses in the world that I'll never get to play. What do you do for a living? - Account Manager for a Luxury Vacation rental company in the Hamptons. How’d you pick your user name? - Just a play on my name.
  2. Still rocking the TM M2 from 2017. Everything on it is stock. I've considered fittings for a new shaft, but just don't have any complaints about this driver and don't necessarily think swapping shafts will make a material difference. When shots go awry, I get the feedback I need, and when I pure it.... butterrrrr
  3. I just bought a new set of Mizuno irons last year. Went with 4-GW. I use every club in the bag, and definitely love my 5-iron, although I do regret adding the 4-iron to the set. Last years LPX 923 Hot Metal Pros have the 4-iron lofted at 19 degrees, and while I can still hit it well and get decent launch most of the time, I think I would have been better served working another hybrid or wood into my bag instead. Hearing more and more people praising their 7-woods, and wish I had looked into it further. For gapping purposes I need a club that I can count on for 215 yds, to fit in between the 5i and my 3hy. Sometimes it's the 4i, but I just don't have the confidence I'd like with it. Maybe if I was in better shape I could hit it hard enough to get consistent launch.
