  1. I do but probably not the way OP was asking. I have 2 fairway woods I consciously practice with on the range and then rarely pull it out of the bag on the course. I feel like being 200-225 out with greens guarded by bunkers or water gives me pause. I tend to layup with an iron and then pitch on.
  2. Hi, new to the forum and website. Can I get the lefty badge and the broke 80 badge? Thanks!
  3. I think the problem with this statement is that each generation looks at the younger generation and makes this same kind of point. Keep in mind that everyone wore suits with formal hats to baseball games for decades. Decades. They would look upon us in our polo shirts, khaki shorts, spikeless shoes and baseball hats and think we were a bunch of poor, unprofessional idiots. Music and informal attire will become the norm although I do think managing the volume should be a reasonable ask. Even tiger has worn the no collar shirts in PGA events. The current golf shorts (and all shorts for that matter) are shorter don't qualify for country club dress codes today. So, I can't where my $100 tighter fitting Travis Matthew dryfit golf shorts on the course? We need to adapt.
  4. I've been looking for a 7 wood or maybe a hybrid with a larger head akin to a fairway wood for months. I have a gap between my 5 iron and 5 wood. Duh?! I walk into PGASuperStore to hit the Titleist's latest offerings in hopes of finding the right shaft combination before continuing my search. I go to the clearance golf bag sitting in one of the aisles and what do I find? A lefty Titleist TSr1 23 degree hybrid with the bigger head Demo club for about $150. I couldn't believe it. Looks brand new. I went into the simulator, the wonderful man adjusted the head a few times, and Bam, I was hitting it straight. Took it on the course yesterday and hit it once a bit thin but still straight. I'd like to hear other stories of where you had an amazing golf equipment find!
  5. It's funny how this thread has devolved from the original question of what people are hearing about on both sides to people actually stating their opinion of what side they are on. The music and untucked shirt comment is the top example.
