  1. I've only hit it at the range with range balls. I don't use a monitor to track shots on the range, so I can't give precise numbers. Sorry to disappoint there. If I had to guess, I carry it about 210-220 and I like the trajectory. I use a Modus 3 105 shaft that is for mid spin mid trajectory. I've always played a 4i because irons are the best part of my game. The 4i gets replaced by a 4H in many bags, but the 4i makes more sense for my game.
  2. I picked mine up from Club Champion and found a tiny little knick - maybe 3 millimeters, incredibly small - on the back of the 5i. It's annoying to see, but it's purely aesthetic and I intend to play these clubs like crazy over the next 3-5 years, so I don't really mind. If it was on the grooves of the club I 100% would complain. Like you said, errors in mass manufacturing happen. The clubs are awesome. My best hits are better and my worst hits aren't as bad. Sadly, they don't remedy operator errors. Can't wait until they make a club that does.
  3. I had a fitting at Club Champion a month or so ago and got the Ai300. I was fortunate as the club head came in the day before. According to my fitter, I was the first person to pick them. I am 30 and have a high swing speed, so I have a 105g Iron shaft. I love the clubs. One thing to note about these clubs - the lofts are pretty strong. The 4i is a 20 degree loft and my 3H is 19 degrees. You do get some extra distance because of the lofts, but if you are happy with the spin and feel, then it doesn't matter. For instance, the TaylorMade Qi 5i is 23.5 degrees and the Apex Ai300 5i is 22 degrees. That's a pretty big difference. You may need to consider your gapping - I needed to add another wedge when I made the switch to my new irons. Regardless, these rock. They're fantastic clubs and I couldn't be happier. I definitely think they are "ceiling" irons.
  4. What do you think of Shot Scope? Do you happen to use the mobile app version?
  5. My Apex Ai300's were delivered to Club Champion today. I'm salivating waiting for the call/email to come pick them up. Additionally, I purchased a Cobra Darkspeed 3H with some rewards I won at work. $270 club for $75! Very excited to get that into the bag. I'm hoping the 80g S flex works for me. My favorite club is the King Tec 5H with an 80g MMT shaft... it's almost tempting to swap the head even though the shaft is a little short. That shaft is wicked.
  6. Congrats to the testers. I just was fit for the Ai300 and I think you'll love these clubs. Can't wait to post an unofficial review alongside yours.
  7. How long have you been playing golf? I played a lot as a kid - my parents would sign me up for golf leagues. It was always fun but I grew out of it into my early teens. Now I'm some combination of at the range or playing 18 2-3x per week. What’s your handicap or normal score? High 90s to low 100s, but I'm getting a lot better in parts of my game. I'll have a hole or two where I hit a bad shot and wind up taking penalties and putting up a +6, then hit par 3 times in a row. What do you love about golf? It's similar to my other athletic love, weightlifting. It's about mastering a movement What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I keep finding myself reading the content, so I figured why not join. Where are you from? What is your home course? Columbus, Ohio. I wouldn't say I have one. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The summers here are long. We get daylight until 9pm which allows us ample tee times. We can tee off at 4PM and play all 18. The winter. What do you do for a living? Data Science. How’d you pick your user name? I'd say it explains itself.
