Very little Nike in this... Don't worry I'll fix that. I'm happy to take whatever flack that may come with. Now a little background I'm in my 30s and my original interest in golf was tiger woods. He made this stuffy old man sport (which I'm well on my way to being) cool. A lot of people my age only know golf through that tiger spectrum. Started out with a hand me down ping set when I decided to pick up the game. Then gravitated towards the swoosh. Now enough fluff here's witb.
Driver:
did you think I was gonna say Nike? Ping g400max 10.5 @9.5 stock Alta CB stiff
A friend had this and let me give it a go and bought one the next day.
Woods:
Nike VR pro limited edition 15° and 19° stiff diamana 'ahina 75g
Tried and true, launch stays low, first clubs I bought. Found at a garage sale
Irons:
Nike vrs forged 4-p stiff Nippon NS pro shafts
Say what you will about Nike, but they made good irons. Forged feel, with cavity back forgiveness. Another one a friend let me try and I was hooked.
Wedges: Nike engage 52,56 square sole 60 dual sole dynamic gold shafts.
In my opinion these are the most underrated Nike golf products ever. I've tried replacements, sm8s, zipcores, glides, I gamed a eye2+ becu lob for awhile but I always come back to these. I don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure I can swing them with my eyes closed and the ball will go where I want.
Grips: golf pride tour velvet top to bottom
Putter: depending on how heavy my hands feel, and how much rain we've had.
Nike converge s2-12 34" super stroke ss2r
Odyssey exo Indianapolis 34" super stroke midslim 2.0
Pendulum guy, will probably join the lab cult at some point in the near future but these get it done. Exo is maybe the softest face I've ever used. The white hot microhinge face is like putting with a stick of butter. The converge much more firm, I just think it looks cool haha
Ball: chrome soft or whatever I find in the trees
Glove: Kirkland signature
