  2. Get yourself a good garden hose. Good being the key word here! I mean, it's just a hose right?! Shouldn't be that much of a drop-off in quality from the $25 one to the $55 one right? Wrong. Bought our home 11 years ago and after I went through 3 dry-rotted cheap ones in 2 years I decided to spring for an expensive ($75) one. It's still in commission after almost 9 years! Congratulations on your 1st home!! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. The good news is that your options are wide open!! The bad news is that there are a LOT of options! Go to a local shop(preferably one with a launch monitor), and hit everything. Once you've narrowed several sets down, hit them again. Rinse and repeat until one stands above the other! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Welcome to you from Louisiana! The best forums in all of cyberspace, I tell ya. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. These exact irons are on my radar in a serious way. Hit a buddies 8 iron about 10 times a few weeks ago and my goodness it performed crazy good! Excited to jump on the 'Zuno bandwagon in the near future. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. They sure sound awesome! Can't say I've ever seen one, though [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Damn! They look phenomenal, but curious as to how they feel. Would love to have a swing or 20 with one of their 7 irons! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Zero heads up about very recently aerated greens! Nothing spoils a round for me faster. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Great thread. For me, it was Buffalo Ridge in Hollister, Mo (Branson). I played it last early September on a gorgeous weathered morning. At that time I was hitting off of an 18 and felt (stupidly) confident that I'd break 100 there. After shooting a 108, I came back down to earth! What a great time, though. I'm down to a 14 now, and I'm scheduled to play it again at the end of May. Since I have a basic knowledge of the course and more confidence in my game, it is my mission to break 90. I will report back with the results in roughly 5 weeks Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  13. If noone has suggested yet, go with a 'tupperdor'. This one is like one of mine that I use for keeping 25-40 sticks in and take to herf's if there is a big enough turnout. Airtight seal is what you're looking for ultimately. https://www.amazon.com/Sistema-Collection-Rectangle-Storage-Container/dp/B00284AG5U/ref=pd_sim_79_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00284AG5U&pd_rd_r=FE2ZREY5TMDBYDGDQZ11&pd_rd_w=Qhbmu&pd_rd_wg=jQozp&psc=1&refRID=FE2ZREY5TMDBYDGDQZ11 When you get it in, wash it with soapy water then lemon juice (gets rid of any plastic smell). After it's dry, throw in a couple of large Boveda packs https://www.amazon.com/Boveda-65-Percentage-Individually-Wrapped-Humidity/dp/B00FWPQ8WC/ref=pd_sim_79_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00FWPQ8WC&pd_rd_r=53Q3R2NE6EFG2TM9TKQF&pd_rd_w=KiLzJ&pd_rd_wg=UuJN6&psc=1&refRID=53Q3R2NE6EFG2TM9TKQF and forget about it! It really is that simple, and highly effective. If you are looking for any downside to storing in tupperware containers, it's the cosmetic aspect. That's it. I have over 1200 cigars in my collection spread throughout 4-5 large tupperdors and I gladly give up the looks for the functionality! Humidors leak, are expensive, and prone to mold growth. Tupperdors are ugly. Sorry for the uninvited knowledge drop. No matter which way you go, enjoy your cigars!!
  14. There is zero doubt in my mind on my answer. Warped Black Honey. If you know about this cigar, you know (and most likely agree) with my sentiment. The availability of this stick is next to none nowadays. But you can fine one if you dig deep enough. Even still, if you do come across one for sale then plan on shelling out upwards of $50-75 per cigar. Is it worth that? Well, what's a cigar worth in any sense? The taste, the length of the smoke, the smoke output, the company you surround yourself with when you are partaking? All of those things factor in! In my opinion, the Black Honey is not a $75 cigar. There is not a single stick out there that is, for that matter. With that said, it is a $50 cigar (for me) If you come across one of these beauties and can swing it, don't hesitate. And if/when that happens, report back to me on your thoughts!
  15. CigarNoise has an app that has a function of nearby brick and mortars. Add that to a phenomenal community and it's a one stop for cigar enthusiasts!
  16. While I have not tried this particular one yet, I am a fan of cigar 'clips' in general when it comes to golfing. I am partial to the "Stage V Clinger" clip that I came across about 1.5 years ago. It uses magnets to attach itself and the only downside for it that I have come across is that the pushcart I use doesn't have a wide enough strip of metal anywhere on it to accommodate it. It does ship with a velcro strap for applications like that but I quickly lost that I may need to give this cigar minder a run!

  20. I've heard GREAT things about the Srixon Z series 545's. I've been playing Ping since about 5 years ago (G20's and G30's) and I feel like I'm ready to jump to something like the 545's. Just haven't had the chance to hit them yet!

  22. North Louisiana, that is! I'm Doug. I've been looking around My Golf Spy for years. I figured now was as good a time as any to jump in! I'm 37, and only been playing golf for about 5 years. Wish I had picked it up WAY sooner. I've served in the US Army for almost 17 years now (June) and can't wait to hit 20. I try and play 2-3 rounds a week, and love every second of it. My current setup is: Driver- Titleist 715 D2 Woods- Titleist 715 3W, Mizuno JPX 5W Hybrid- TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons- Ping G30 4-9 PW, GW Wedges- Titleist Vokey Spin Milled 52, 56, 60 Putter- Odyssey Works Versa 7
