Yesterday's smoke was an Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua (Vibrato). Solid smoke, but I have no idea how it was awarded CA's Cigar of the Year.
I'm thinking today I'll have a Tatuaje Fausto or a DE Herrera Esteli Norteno

I've got one that's been sitting in my humidor for about a year and a half. So far, I haven't been overly impressed with the few Cubans I've had (Cohiba Edicion Limitada 2015, Cohiba Maduro 5, Partagas Serie D #4, and a Romeo)...I still find myself gravitating to the higher-end, full bodied Nicaraguan cigars.

Depends on the cigar. I still prefer a straight cut on a torpedo/figurado and anything under a 50 ring.

Trying to decide between an Oliva Serie V (torpedo) and a Tatuaje Fausto (FT153). Probably going with the V...my stores of the Fausto are dwindling and box sales on those are few and far between.
V-cut or straight cut?

I always use a punch on a large ring (58+) or a flathead. A golf tee makes for a good makeshift punch cut, in a pinch, when you're caught on the golf course without a proper cutter.
